This is my best friend Kylee & I. & These are our matching anchor tattoos. We both have a total of 3 separate anchors on our bodies. Why? Because we met in the 3rd grade & have been best friends ever since. We feel as if we are each other’s anchor. We’re what keeps each other from drifting off to sea.
We had a blast getting these done. & I’d like to thank my good friend Alan Chen for tatting us up! :) We’re proud to have joined, what he calls, his “skankchor army”!

My second tattoo; lyrics from The Wonder Years song ‘Won’t Be Pathetic Forever’.

It’s a reminder that no matter how god-awful life is, I’m still stronger. It’s just a positive way to think, and as I’m in love with both the band and the message, it felt right to get it on me.
